In August of 2006, SMG, through its promotional products division, began selling custom designed USB flash drives to the business market and felt there was a larger opportunity to market to the consumer population. With over 6 months of design and development, SMG chose the niche market they wanted to target, and will now focus their attention towards the growing market of safety, health and emergency preparation.
